I have all this cool red, white, and blue varigated yarn (not *too* bright) and I'm thinking of making a hair tube w/it. Do you think it would look too busy? Should I do the ribbing in a matching solid color and the body in the varigated, or vice versal? Or the whole thing in the varigated? I don't want to spend the hours making it to have it look like sh!t, kwim? LOL
When I wear a patterned hair scarf, I'll just usually wear something more subtle..like jeans and a black top or whatever. You get the idea. I don't think it would look bad..but I would def do the ribbing part in a solid color.
yeah. it would look fine but thanks to Bush trying to shove god and country down our throats I'm not to keen or the ol' red/white/and blue. but it actually oughta turn out very cool and not "god and country" looking because of the randomness of the varigated yarn when its used.
I know what you mean. That's why I won't do red, white, and blue stripes. But I thought the varigated would look cool knitted up. I was going to make one to put on my site. Suprisingly, I've gotten a few orders for these colors, but in kerchiefs.
