Teaching Husband to sew!!!

Ok so this is the first thing my husband has started sewing ever and her got the whole back of his pants finished yesturday. I dont have the patience to do all over patchwork. He is doing a great job =)

heres the back of his pants.... still has to make the front but the first time i ever sewd i woldve fucked this up majorly.. they will look much better when they are finished with pockets and all i think, but he is doing an awesome job!!

the patches kinda went a lil crazy in that left corner at the bottom but we can always put an applique or pocket there or something...

My husband actually was the one to show me how to use a sewing machine, even though I still haven't gotten the hang of it because I have the attention span of a young child. I told him last night that I want to do some hemming of my shorter little sundresses because you ladies on this forum inspired me to make tops out of them yesterday. So, I drafted him to help me out holding high hopes that maybe because it is a more simple project that I'll actually be able to finish it, and not end up cursing the sewing machine and threatening that I'll never sew again.
