I will be in A'dam from April 21-26. It will be my 3rd time there. I plan on taking a day and visiting some castles near A'dam. I was wondering since I have never traveled outside of A'dam how I would get to these castles. I assume I would take a train to the nearest city. After that I have no clue. Would I just take a taxi or do buses take you to these places? Thanks for any help. Also, if anyone will be there when I am there let me know. Maybe we could meet up and chill one day.

    peace

I don't know shit about castles(we don't have many castles either), but this one is near Amsterdam.

You can take a bus from the stations listed below on that site.
    For example :
From intercitystation Amsterdam Amstelstation (daglijnen 136, 152 en 157) <-- those are the numbers of the busses which go to the castle.

    Hett-loo

was the residence of William of Orange, of William and Mary
they liven there in 1687, prior to Williams assuming
    The Crown of England.

Sorry man, I'll be missing you by a day for the hook up but I know you're gonna have a gret time.

Check out the link below for more castle info.

Het Loo is a royal palace, not so much a castle. Its nice though.

The castle in Muiden is great. The castle De Huur is much better to see. Take the train to Utrecht. THen catch a bus right to the castle. I forget which bus it is ,but they can tell you at the bus station. The bus station is next to the train station. It's really easy to get there.
