first of all, oxymoron is one word, and has absolutely nothing to do with the ox. And as for rat bastard, well I cant say that i will ever have something positive to say about rats, except they feed larger animals. The cerebral cortex of higher animals is what has a corelation to their higher brain functions, such as memory, thought, emotion, and consciousness. A chickens Cortex doesn't have the folding that higher primates (us) have, and therefore cannot process much information. What information the cortex does hold in most animals is survival instincts...( remembering to run away from a wolf cause it will fucking eat you.)
