Hello! I am giving my friend dreads... and its turning out to be alot of work... He says that he cannot possibly work on them on his own... soooo is there any suggestions on how he can work on them for himself... and any other tips on getting them to stay..! we are using wax and backcombing and the tips are dreading nicley but the roots keep going crazy on us... arg! help much apriciated thanks!
Tell him to stop useing conditioner.That dreads my hair naturally everytime and try shampoing with dr bronners instead of shampoo

Yea im her friend. I acualy just got some dr bonners shampoo thanks alot. All the help i can get really does help. Why not use wax? I switched to sea clay tho its a little diffrent.
Wax will stay in your dreads for years and years, no matter how hard you try to wash it out. It will attract dirt and dust and eventually go moldy. It inhibits your hair from locking and is just plain EVIL. Use aloe vera for the frizzies, and just let them dread on their own.
