Im so excited, i made this skirt, i screwed it up a bit, but it's my first time making a skirt like this, and the first time i've ever done that pinwheel patch thing and the patchwork at the bottom. I love it cuz i can wear it with bow in the front or in the back and it looks sweet. yay for me. :)

That's cool! I love the retro fabrics, where did you find them?

they were old sheets. since im really just practicing, i buy a ton of cool old sheets and pillow cases from thrift stores and make stuff out of them rather then spend tons of money on new fabric only to waste it if i screw up. which i do...alot lol.

That is very pretty. It'd look nice with a little halter.. Sheets run up nice because the weave is tighter than what you normally buy. they don't wrinkle or shrink as much either.. Peace Love

Wow, it's bright! :p Very pretty, you did a great job. And definitely a great idea about the sheets! I was thinking last night that I'd like to start making patchwork clothes for myself, but was thinking the fabric would be too much $$ to be friggin' around with. So cheapo sheets from the thrift stores is an excellent idea! Thanks for the inspiration! ;)

    Bright Blessings!
