I wanna see how many get this RIGHT! What is the FIRST website you should vist while having a Computrer Virus?
hmm...can't say i've ever needed to go to a website, antivirus updates itself daily, so i've never had a problem.... symantec maybe, they've usually got info on new viruses and removal tools....
I run my rootkit revealer, if it doen't show the virus I hunt manually, I generally have a good idea of what belongs on my comp, I've been wrong before but hey, what can you do?
Most of the time viruses can be avoided with a little common sense. I haven't found a virus on my computer in about a year, and my antivirus was able to easily eliminate it. So there really wasn't much of a need to visit a website. However I have a feeling that this is a trick question.
I'm not talking about avoiding a virus. I'm talking about what site would you willingly spread it to? Answer: Microsoft.com!
