Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here, and I would like to ask all you good people for some advice; I have a concert in 2 months, a recital ( I play the piano), and would like to wear something really special. I was thinking of sewing some nice earthy dress or something, anyway, any help is welcome!
You could look at renn/medieval patterns and make it out of a hemp or nice cotton... Something long and flowy like.. .Good luck
Somthing in velvet is good. It looks classy and it will keep you warm. Thoes concert halls can get real cold
Hey, Glad you posted. I took piano lessons for 6 years as a kid. Did my share of recitals. Always wore black velvet dresses. Think once I had a burgundy velvet one. Just looks classie behind that piano. Hope you do well at your recital. What songs will you be playing ?
I'll be playing Chopin revolutionary and one nocturne, Beethoven Tempest sonata 1 & 2 movement, Bach prelude and fugue, one rachmaninov prelude and a piece by one croatian composer.
Which Nocturn? I love Nocturne in E minor. So pretty. Dont get me wrong, im not all that great at piano. My best friend however if one of those phycos. He is going for his Amus in September... What grade are you?
A nocturne in b flat minor, op.9 No.1. I just adore this piece, it's very special to me. It's great someone else here likes piano too!
