Wha!?!?

    Look carefully at this picture, and somebody tell me what's wrong with it.[​IMG]

    how the? what the? WHY!?!?!??
    is adaware, spybot, spysweeper, and firefox not enough to stop them?

    apparently not. i feel for you though. i think computer companies hire people to made those viruses/adware etc so that we buy products to stop them. and then, since it's their own software, they know how to design said adware so that it can get past the crap we shoved out 50 bucks for.

    im probably totally wrong but its an idea.

    either way it sucks.

    Yep. I say it's a FLASH file. I don't know of any Spyware or Popup stoppers that handle those.

    Uhhhhh.... the addblock plug-in for Mozilla can remove flash components.

    Properly configured firefox should stop any pop-ups. However, other programs can lead to getting pop-ups, as can windows security holes. Try getting a better OS! ;-)

    ew, that looks like it isn't very fun. right click and close it... I never hit the x button for popups, don't trust it to not install crap on my computer *paranoid*

    Notice that the popup is not in a firefox window? :) It's an IE popup passed through Firefox.

    i suspect it came from using a plugin for firefox called flashget & flashgot.

    man...seeing my first popup in years.....almost had a heart attack.

    I've used flashget along with flashgot for a long time now and haven't experienced any type of popup. On a sidenote Mozilla just released Firefox 1.03 which fixes a few security bugs. You might want to download it.
