What have you done that was sweet for your sweetie?

What have you done recently that was special for your loved one?

 

Ewww nothing like that but I surely have been sweet.

 

I couldn't resist.

What would be one of the things you've done?

I like to give Bill a back rub when he's sitting at the table working. If I'm cooking dinner and he's working I'll stop by and give him some attention.

 

Well, I hope you can give me some ideas.

He has been the one being sweet to me and I owe him one! When we were in TX last week, he was up in my Dad's office attic, looking for MY childhood mementos and he fell though - 10 feet onto his head and shoulder. . 8 stitches in his head and his collar bone is sitting in the wrong spot. I feel so guilty.

 

I made dinner last night and rubbed Ben's head and cuddled plus gave him some tender loving (if you know what I mean) I am cleaning the house today and that seems about nice enough for right now.

 

I gave my girlfriend a felt tip pen

 

Oh, I'll clean and cook for awhile (He's good at doing at those, too), but I need something really special. In the past, when he came home from snowboarding and was all cold and tired, I've drawn him a bath, gave him a smoke and a drink and then bathed him myself. I know he liked that!

 

I regularly bring my wife cigarettes/go out to the store at night to get her chocolate....

That sounds so painful Tara. He sounds like he could use some attention.

Is he home now resting? You could surprise him with a tray of some of his favorite snacks and his favorite drink. Try and help him with things he does around the house that he can't do. (of course only if your able to do it)

I've got lots of ideas. I love to do special things for Bill. He does them for me too.

Try not to feel guilty. It wasn't your fault. If you cut the hole in the floor and put a rug over it and told him to walk on it then I would feel guilty. Of course then I should check myself in because that's just mean. lol

 

so funny, not in a funny way. He kept pointing at the one area without plywood or framing and warning me and Shane about it. Then he goes and steps right in it. It was truly horrible, but he is doing better than I ever imagined at the time. Yea, he is resting. Maybe a special dinner with candles and some slooooow loving on my part?

 

YES! Loving is always a good thing. You've got the right idea. He'll forget about his pain.

In a way I actually did because I am in no way ready for anything serious right now since I am living sunny Honduras for college in August...

and she wanted something serious.

Yesterday I gave him a flower and his favorite chocolate bar.
A few days ago he phoned me and woke me up early to tell me to check the backdoor for a present he left for me outside, when I opened the door he was there and he gave me a big good morning kiss
