I made an appointment. I'm going Wednesday night at 6:00. I just showed Bill the picture. He's likes. He thinks I could style my hair like that now if I really worked with it. I have too much bulk and the ends need help. Who knows? Maybe this will work in my favor and be cute on me.
Thanks poptart and hiro. I know I'll have to style it. The hard part is training me to do it first then train the hair to follow my lead.
it's light and will hold with out getting like black folks hair...if you want a mohawk..try hair glue that is the shit...if you get your hair like that cut..you will have to condition condtion condtion...you blow dry a lot like me but my hair never gets damaged cause i cut and condtion like a religion. and trust me i process my hair with heat, products, and dye more then everyone put together on this site...word.
Thanks for the tip. I condition mine twice a week at least. I wash it every day and I use a curling brush. I can't use the irons. I don't know how to work them. After I get it cut I'm going to touch up my color.
The theoretical cut looks good, not that drastically different than what you have in your pics, just a lot sleeker. I think it'll be cute! I use molding paste more than anythign to style usually. I don't style too much, it's just if some bits are being unruly compared to the rest of my hair. It's sort the same consistency as toothpaste, maybe a little thicker... you gotta rub it between yoru fingers to make it more liquidy and only use a little bit, it's strong stuff, but I likes it. KMS brand, makes me happy.
Aren't you supposed to use conditioner every day after you shampoo? I do... Anywho, Peanut - I just got my hair cut similar to that - my friend did it. My bangs are a little longer than I wanted them, so I may get it trimmed soon, but otherwise I love it. I have gotten a lot of complements on it and people say it frames my face a lot better. I wish I had a picture of mine so I could show you, but sadly not yet. What I usually do is put some split end stuff on the ends of my hair when its still wet and some shine serum. If you need some hold, you could always work in some gel with a bit of leave in conditioner (so the gel doesn't over-dry your hair) right before you blow-dry. When I blow-dry, I just flip my head over and dry it some like that for some volume and then flip my head back over and finish the job; I opt for just running my fingers through my hair when I blow dry, as it gives you a nice soft wave. With my bangs, I just dry them straightening with my fingers. Once I'm done drying, I add some shine serum again to the ends. Usually, after that, I use the Brilliant Brunette finishing cream, just to tame fly aways and it brings out some radience and helps seperate your hair some and give it some definition. But, I'm out of that right now, so I'm improvising with some gel and leave in condition again. It doesn't do the job as nicely as I like, but its fine in the meantime. And as far as styling it, I just brush it and sweep my bangs over and voila! You're done! I know it sounds like a long process, but trust me, its incredibly easy. Plus, is you want a sexy-flirty look, you could always pull your hair into a ponytail with your bangs down and looking great. I hope you enjoy your haircut and have fun with it!
Oh! I almost forgot to add, that you can usually get a split-end serum that doubles as a shine serum too.
Thank you for all your suggestions. I'm going to try using my fingers when I blow dry my hair upside down. I use a pick a lot instead of a brush. Maybe I could turn the heat setting down a bit too and force myself to use a lower watt hair dryer. I don't think my hair cares for all the heat & power. I'd love to see a picture when you get one. I bet you look stunning. Funny today my husband was giving me suggestions too. He even looked at a magazine with me and told me what he liked and didn't like. I was looking at clothing today and was figuring how I could compliment the cut with a good outfit. He was very helpful. I'm starting to get excited for my new makeover.
actually...to have beautiful hair you usually have always had it...it's in a persons genes...so if your hair has always been dry and damaged or thin or thick or whatever it might then it will usually be that way alwyas. my hair has always been healthy except when i was doing meth.
