Next possible haircut?

ehh... my hair always used to be dry and damaged, especially at the ends but all over too. Since I chopped it short and started dying it, it's shiny and not dry or damaged very much anymore. I've also changed my shampoo and conditioner though, to colour-protecting and moisturizing ones.

 

That's were styling products help. I have Silk Therapy serem that works well for changing the texture of my hair. That stuff is incredible.

Right now I'm incredible staticky. My hair is dry, my skin is dry. I keep shocking everything I touch including everyone. I get shocked over 20 times a day. (can't be good really, lol)

 

umm... replace carpets with hardwood floors?

 

Peanuts - yeah, when I blow-dry my hair, I use a lower setting because my hair doesn't like the heat either. Also, try using a diffuser on your blow-dryer, as it takes away from the intensity of the heat. I also of course usually towl-dry my hair some and let it air-dry some while I brush my teeth, cleanse the face, put on moisturizer and such so thats even less heat I have to use on it.

I'm excited for your new makeover too! I know I really just needed a change with my look a little. I hadn't had bangs in like 12 years or something and I had the same hippyish cut for almost just as long too. I feel my new cut is more modern and I've been told it frames my face a lot better. I'm having a lot of fun with it and I can't wait for you to have fun with yours!

Plus, the style isn't that common, so you'll stand out inthe crowd and everyone will be looking at your sexy self.

 

LOL!!! That's what I have. Hardwood floors. The bedrooms have carpet. I have throw rugs but a lot of wood is exposed.

I could walk around spritzing water on myself to break the static.

 

therma silk is wonderful if you heat up your hair a lot. when my hair was long i use to use it cause i would have to blow dry it for an hour just for it to look healty

I've always had bangs. I've never have the hippish style. I can't let my bangs get past my eyes or it drives me nuts! lol

Bangs are sexy. Both are actually but bands really frame your face. Adds more to your features.

I am going to try towel drying my hair and letting it air dry for a few minutes before I dry it. I always go straight for the dryer.

Bill and I are going to be going to Atlantic City in a couple weeks. I want to look sexy for him. We will be without our boys and out on our own. It's been so long since I've put this much thought into updating my style. I love it actually.

How do you dress? What kind of style to you like?

I have kind of my own style...but when I dress up, say if I was going to Atlantic City, I would definitly bring a pair of great black leather boots - like ones that go up to the knee so they would look great with a skirt or dress pants. I would probably bring a pair of nicer jeans, a pair of black dress pants (the ones I have stretch and make my j-lo booty look really good ), maybe a skirt and then a variety of really cute dressier tanks and shirts, usually lower cut to show the ladies off , that you can all mix and match to pair them together. And if it gets chilly at night, or if you're going to be in the casinos (as it is usually chilly in there), I would bring a cute sheer shawl or like a dressy/casual black velvet jacket to wear.

I would also probably pack a nice little black cocktail dress, just in case you guys go to a really nice resturaunt, or you're in the mood to really dress up.
