Dunno if this has been done before but I thought it might be a good idea to share some health and beauty tips among us girlies! These are some of mine: Give yourself a scalp massage for ten minutes to loosen tight scalp before washing your hair - use your fingertips to press gently on the scalp and move it around, rather than rub it. It really helps to relax you if you're stressed and it makes your hair grow stronger. I started doing it a few years ago when I was really stressed and my hair started falling out - not only did it make it grow back but it made it thicker then before! (of course it always nicer if someone else does it for you!) sometimes i use olive oil to cleanse my skin with cotton wool- it is amazing how much dirt it can take off! I'll add more later. Wanna share your secrets??
go to sleep with a little bit of olive oil in your hear....wear a shower cap and never condition any part of your hair except for the tips.
If you want a really yum body exfoliant, without the store chemicals, put a cup or so of olive/almond/nice oil with say 1/2 a cup brown sugar and a few tsp grated ginger in a jar, scrub yourself down with it and then wash it off in the shower...it makes your skin glow.
cocoa butter does wonder for skin blemishes (stretch marks, etc), but I just use body shop's stuff, havn'et tried to find an organic variety thereof.
cool.. these are great! I love the idea of the body exfoliant! think Im gonna try that one out! Thanks. I have another: when Im shaving my legs I don't use shaving cream, I use Dove bar! I find it works better and doesnt go all over the place lik shaving foam does! (at least when i use it)
