THe past week in my Spanish class, we have been going over the works of |El Greco, Murio, Velazquez, Goya, and Zuburan. I didni't really like some of Murio and Zuburan, but I really liked some Greco and Goya's dark paintings. Anyways, yesterday was my first time taking acid, and I was surprised to think a great deal about some of the paintings. I even came up with some of my own in my head in the style of these artists, like they SHOULD have painted it. It was mostly Goya and Greco paintings on my trip. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I was pouring over Spanish art while tripping! Now I have an even greater appreciation of the art! |Thoughts? Comments?
