UK Hipforum awards 2005

After being inspired this evening by Po_13 to search around in the archives i discovered many hilarious things... the geek awards (in which i sadly came third..beaten by missmercy and hippygirl).. kelso wars...pm weekend.. and the uk forum story... these were the days when i was katz86..
I then came across the Uk hipforum awards from 2003... I thought it might be nice to do that again..

These are the previous award catagories and winners...
Obviously you may feel some awards are outdated...or you just don tunderstand them.. and some new awards may need to be created.. but this should give you an idea of what we're looking for..

Ooooh wow thats brings back a few memories and a few old names (some of them i dont actually remember :S)

I didnt get one nomination poooy then again i had only just joined and not many poeple did know me back then hehe i remember sitting there and thinking when it was going on "this is a bit cliquey.... i'll never make friends here they all know each other" .... but i decided to stick it out and see if i did....


























...i'm still sticking it out... so if anyone ever decides they need a new friend.... i've been waiting a few years

I think I can give you a run for your money. I've got a crate of legos in my home right now. Used to build lego scenes taking up half of my room, including a scene from the apocalypse, a Christmas village (the houses actually lit up), castle seige, working transformers, and an 18 inch tall Superman (which I entered into a Lego competition when I was 8 years old. Didn't win)

I found mine and I'm using it as my sig again, and I think I'm one of the only ones. So I'm a dead cert for it

I honestly think I must have nominated myself for the musician award, I think only one or two people have ever actually heard me sing from the forums! And I think I paid someone for the Big Sis nomination.

I think you should invent a new award for me this year - Person Least Likely To Win An Award. (They had to make this award up for me in primary school for sports day, as I came last in everything I ever did, and to stop me crying, they gave me a gold star ) Kat, can I have a gold star please, or I'll cry.

Sal and power13- ive looked for another set of awards.. i found some island dwellar did in 2002 i think but they didnt have any awards related to 'smoking'..
they did however have smellyness awards...which i didnt win...a certain Poopheonix did..

Mr.K is still a mystery! Me and a friend of mine actually met the guy, contact was lost soon afterwards...Maybe we were the best forum representitives considering his strong political views and time-travelling ability.

And since we have a photo forum now, forum's best photographer would be a decent award to get. Fourm's filthiest member would probably please some too I suppose!

 

Hahahaha, Mike, I just spent ages looking for that thread and found it. Read through it all (took a while...its so long!) and I can't believe how much of a geek I am! And I have so many more things I could add to that now, its scary.
Though I actually only came second with 89 points (HippyGirl had 112!!!).
We all know you and Kelso were the biggest geeks though.

I miss those days so much! Lets do something similar again soon!
