oh come on now,,,we set ya up so ya get a 3 hour layover in atlanta and a 2 hour layover in charlotte,,so it wont be all on the bus.....

an besides,, just think how good your bed will feel tomorrow after two weeks in a tent....

I'm unaware of this tradition of riding on a bus for one's 20th birthday.

Was down here for a couple weeks rememberin why she decided it was best fer her not to follow measa this trip....

Atlanta is not exactly the city to be stuck in, either....rough areas there....especially around the Greyhound terminal.

we assume shes fine,,last we heard they was lettin her go,,,she should be home in another couple hours,,,,gotta love those 21 hour bus trips...

 

If Greyhound would only get smart and open more terminal locations across the US and expand, these 21 hour trips would be cut down dramatically!

At a consistent rate of 65 miles an hour, subtracting a cumulative hour for piss stops, food, etc, (leaving 20 hours of travel), a car could have gone 1300 miles. Hell, I am up here in Kokomo, IN and could make it to the southern tip of Florida in less time!

well we tried to tell her flying was the better way to go,,would take her longer to get to the airport from here than it would to fly back,,the whole trip coulda been cut down to about 6 hours for the same price..

Actually if we woulda been able to keep her on her origonal schedule she woulda only had a 17 hour bus ride,,but due to circumstances beyond our control she got stuck with the senic route..

bet she flys down next time....
