Ok...So I thought, if Eliot is going to post a thread asking to be modded, I should to.

Why?

1. I'm already a mod of another forum (Bare It!)
2. I'm friendly to everyone
3. I'm fair.
4. Some of the points that Eliot made were fair. Someone needs to keep the necroposting and spamming to a minimum and it could be me.

Ask me questions about my policies and I will be more than happy to answer them. But anyway, HIPPY FREEK FOR MOD OF RANDOM THOUGHTS!

I think that would be cool. What ARE your policies, because sometimes disagreements can get out of hand, but other times they're just funny and entertaining and harmless. What do you consider crossing the line?

For instance Maggie Sugar is a great mod, but I think she can be a prude sometimes. People disagree, and sometimes get heated, but only when it gets ridiculous that I ever think a thread should be closed. What do you think?

I am going to ask Skip to re-instate my mod status since I am back full-time again. I had 5 forums and really enjoyed it...

Not concerned which ones I get, just like to keep these boards clean.

 

But the forum already has 3 mods..

 

Three doesn't seem to be enough with the volume of posts coming in everyday. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to have another...

First off, I think with the silliness that is Random Thoughts, arguments will be dealt with in a funny way. I'm not above the use of humour to solve problems. If they get out of hand, then I'll be sure to close the threads and give warnings to those involved before anything truly horrific is said.

Yes, I believe that warnings should be given before bannings and I do believe I would warn people first.

The one thing I can't stand is the slander that some consider funny. Take our friend HalloweenRiot...His comment about me was completely unnessecary. He would, if I were a mod, receive a warning. If it happened again, I would report him to Skip. But I won't do it for things done to me personally. I will do it for things you all bring to my attention.

I know that this forum already has 3 mods. But they are not nearly as active on this particular forum as it demands or that I am. So I think I would be a good mod for this forum.

This is one of the characters that gave me grief when I moderated as well. It got so bad that Sydburnz left for a little bit, and between Bubbles, Smokey420 and whomever else they could recruit, the old forums were getting bad for awhile.

It always helps to have people that are willing to donate the time required to back Skip up in these forums. Not only is moderating a priviledge, it is a great way to go that extra mile for this site.
