i want to get a few tatoos and peircings. no, i dont want to be covered in them, but i just want a few. but im, afraid that if i do get some, it will interfere with my dream of being an attorney. can anyone give me any advice? will they look at my tats and piercings and judge me by it, and believe that i wont be good at what i do?
well it just depends.. you can get tats that when you are wearing clothes, that they will be covered up.. piercings, well, i guess if you had none on your face but i dont know i work at an insurance compay and make people take out facial piercings..but places and people are different.. you can alway leave the stud in if you get facial piercings.. but it doesnt matter people will hire ya if they want.. ive seen some attorneys that look like freak shows so yeah...
well i want to get a stud in my chin right below my lip, and some tats on my arms, and one tat right below my eye kind of on my cheekbone. i just didnt want to ruin my whole life with just a few simple things.
Think about them for a long time before you put them on your face.... The difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is the tattooed people dont care if you have or dont have a tattoo.....
if you get your labret pierced you can leave the stud in and take the ball off... I wouldnt get the tat on your face cause i dont know thats just me personally speaking..the others if the job doesnt care for them, at least you can cover them up with shirts and so forth...
I am for clit piercing but nothing else. Every other kind of piercing makes you look like a freaking freak.
a face tat would limit your chances as a lawyer for sure. Think about the job of an attorney, all of the contact with clients, pleading someones case in front of a judge and jury....
acctually im still debating over the face tat. based on the feddback im getting about the face tat, ill probably forget that.
When I was in the tattoo parlor one time, they turned a girl away who wanted a tiny tiny half moon right under her hairline on her forehead. They told me that a lot of places won't do it. The first thing someone sees when they look at you is your face, and they're gonna think hmmm.. now why would someone do that? I personally wouldn't care, but a lot of potential clients might, if you really are thinking about pursuing a career in law. Good luck with the other stuff though!
there's so little paddingg between your bones on your face anyways, especiallly the forehead. Doesn't it have a larger nerve density than most of the rest of your body anyways? I wouldn't hire someone to bag groceries if they had a noticeable face that either... a small one that was easily hidden sure, but not something you'd see the first time you looked at 'em. I'm just mean like that though
