I just saw it again for the second time today. I guess I liked it a little better the first time I saw it two years ago, senior year of HS. But it is still a great movie with a great soundtrack. I won't ruin anything about the movie in case you haven't seen it, because it was an indie film if I remember correctly.

Well, your thoughts on the movie?

I loved it! Demi, Emilio, Rob and Andrew. They called them the "Brat Pack" Most of them starred in "The Breakfast Club". Carlfloydfan if you liked St Elmo's Fire, you'll like The Breakfast Club.

I like the fact that alot of the stars in the movie are the same ones that were in Breakfast Club.

This is so freaky. I live in Australia, and they actually showed St Elmo's Fire on TV late last night. I haven't seen it in years, and really enjoyed seeing it again. Yeah, all the actors in it were big in the 80's. I used to love Andrew Macarthy. :) It was kinda like an 80's version of Singles, I reckon.

Well the Brat Pack branched off on their own after SEF. But Short Circuit had Ally Sheedy in it. Ron Lowe video taped himself with a 16 year old and didn't work for years. Emilio starred in a low budget but not too sucky film with his then coked out brother Charlie Sheen about 2 garbage guys. Andrew starred in several forgetable films where he was either the really nice guy or he was really a creep and Demi well...
