Salvia

tell me whatyou know about it? I smoked some this past weekend when i was REALLY drunk and i remember thinking that this little pile of leaves was a coiled up snake....but that's about all i remember of it. So im kinda anxious to try it again. Like what exactly is it? How do YOU smoke it? Is it easily obtainable if you dont have any headshops in your area?....just lay some general info on me!

You didnt trip, your whole idea of seeing things was full of shit, it was just because you were drunk. You cant simply pick up a bowl of salvia, smoke, and trip. You need to take huge hits and hold them in for as long as you possibly can, upwards to thiry seconds if possible. Try to get atleast two hits in like that and sit back and get ready for the ride.

Salvia is intense, and if you havnt done other hallucinogens I dont suggest you do it.

Why would you suggest someone simply go to erowid. Even though this forum is a marijuana forum and salvia shoudlnt even be discussed here, telling someone to simply go to erowid is a waste. Almost every thread in this forum could be told to go to erowid, its stupid. The forum is here for a purpose. Give some input, then suggest erowid as a good drug website.

biggest mistake youll ever make when it comes to salvia. there is a whole forum for salvia in the psychadellics forum of this site, check it out. ive done pretty much everything you can think of (besides various tryptamines/phenethylamines), including heroin, crack, and pcp and IMO salvia is the hardest drug there is besides DMT, and some say it is even harder then that. it is in no way a fun drug.

I've done lots and lots and lots of acid before when I was homeless in Seattle. I had acid every night. I've done 10-strips at a time all without visuals. At the bare minimum, maybe I laughed at the way things that really were there looked and moved but it certainly wasn't a hallucination. It was all just a body high. Fun, but no visuals. So maybe I *don't* trip. That won't stop me from trying salvia as soon as I can get some $ to order some.

then that wasnt salvia! Or just very poor leaves. I have never not tripped on salvia upon inhaling. Shit I done my first 15x last weekend, and I was trippin, laughing and crap. I would never forget what i said when i was filling up the bowl, with ALOT of salvia for my friend, becuase i was generous and i was trippin: "Generosity Killed The Cat!..AHAHAHA". Man those were fun ass times.

No. It IS possible to be resistant to any given substance. It was the same acid I shared with friends who tripped. I just do not, apparantly.

How can you tell him he didn't trip? Were you there? Are you him? Do you see what his eyes and mind see? Unless you're him then i don't think so! Salvia fucks you up fast bitch!

I know ur not dissing Erowid but somethings are hard to explain especially when you can't exactly remember the experience. Erowid is right about every drug I've tried and it will answer all this persons questions!

i agree. THe effects dont last more than 10 min at hte very most and its not like when ur on it you can get up and go for walks. It just doesnt work like that.

 

kraze you hit on it a bit, what your referring to is called "salvia gravity" aka you feel like your being pulled(usually downwards but in some instances other directions)

when me and my friend josh first did 20X he took the first hit and as soon as he passed me the bubbler and exhaled he was slowmotion moving towards the ground, i then took my hit and felt like i was being dragged towards the ground.

i agree that its not a party drug, its not like bud where you can smoke and be able to act straight, if you have good salvia and hit it right then your basically fucked for the next 10 minutes.

has anyone else whos done it, had mini trips later? the day i did 20x the first time about 3 hours after i was ironing a shirt and totally tripped out ont he design of it, long enough to burn it(barely). also, josh and I are cig addicts...like serious chainsmokers lol....but when i talked to him online that night he said he had only smoked 2 that day, and i had only smoked 3 that day cuz i didnt get cravings, usually we both smoke upwards of 12 a day.

 

so me and two of my friends picked up some 10x on the way to a camping trip. so my friends hits it first, and starts coughing, and hacking up some shit, and when he came back up, he looked like a different person, like he was in a completely different world, and he just said, "who's next?" so my other friend hits it, and just starts laughing his ass off.. then i hit it, and nothing really happened.. after a min i hit it again, and immediately it hit me. i don't know how to describe it.. but anyways, this story isn't about me.. my second friend who hit it started acting kinda weird. first, he couldn't stop laughing. after a few minutes, he stopped laughing, and he looked really scared and paranoid. he kept saying he wanted to go home.. later he told us that he couldn't remember who he was, and who we were.. he recognised us, but couldn't really understand how he knew us, or where we were. he said he felt like he was in hell. while he was tripping, we told him we should play guitar, and he later told us he didn't even know what a guitar was. the scary thing is, we didn't know what to do for him, and we didn't even know how bad he was tripping. although the trip ended like 30 mins after we smoked, he said he didn't feel normal that whole weekend. pretty intense.
a few months later, we got some salvia at the porn shop, but it didn't do anything for us.. a waste of $40.
