    It's not that complicated really.

The Labour Party were the Left-Wing party, the Democrats were originally in the Labour Party but broke away because there was no 'middle ground' and they didn't like the extremes of the unions and the Conservatives were 'right-wing' idiots.

Today the most left party are the Liberal Democrats, the Labour Party suck up to the right wing extremes of Bush and Berlusconi and are out of touch with the working class who they historically represented, and the Conservative leader, a Romanian imigrant, wants to make life as difficult as possible for other immigrants, so still a right-wing idiot and no change there.

    Whats complicated by that?[IMG]

I'm probably voting lib dem. I'm considerin ga tory vote, since my main priority is to make sure that labour aren't represented in m yconstituency.

I don't favour the tories, i'm just thinking of it as a tactical vote.

that's awesome we used to have a third party in 92' and 96' but both Republicans and Democrats teamed up and eventually destroyed it, now they are focusing on destroying each other using character assignation.... we are truely a divided country

First past the post representative democracy will always produce two party politics. The Lib Dems may have a few seats, but they're hardly likely to form the next government. If they ever grow to be a serious opposition, then it will be at the expense of one of the other two parties. I'd like to see proportional representation, as a start to improving the democratic process. At least it would be easier to pretend we lived in a democracy with it....

What are your reasons for being anti-Labour? The Cuntservatives are pretty fucking evil, you'd have to be very desperate to vote for them....

No, I doubt the Tories have any chance of getting in. Most of the marginals where Lib Dems expect to gain seats are Tory held, the Tories will lose seats to the Lib Dems as well as Labour. Also the way the constituency boundaries are drawn works against the Tories. If the Tories got equal votes to Labour, Labour would still come away with a majority of around a hundred. They would need about a 10% swing in their favour to even get a small majority....

Yup... we're very much the same... Lib Dem stronghold... Tory in second place... Labour do fuck all down here...

Our MP was Paul Tyler... a good local MP... always involved in local issues... came into school on several occaisions... so he has decided not to stand this time... that might affect the vote...

Of course, the Tory vote may well be split by UKIP and VARIETITS...

    So much for democracy, eh?...

    Fly...

i sometimes don't see any difference between democracy and dictatorship

we have 2 option only for goverment
labour or conservative and i believe there r more people dislikes both parties than the ones like 1 of them(u know what i mean:))
both parties don't really have a massive difference
or at least labour is not labour anymore

in usa even worst,i believe our conservative party more liberal than democrats

but a real joke was french presidential election
    2 candidates;1:j. chirac
    2: le pen

so we r ending up tony blair has no alternative and he becomes democratic dictator.
he can do what ever he wants even public doesn't like

    another striking similarity:

    both system protects itself violently
if u r against the system and want 2 change the system they shut u up
if still u r noisy they kill u
that was 1 of the reason we wanted 2 get rid of saddam(1 of a few million reasons)because he was against democracy and he killed a lot of people in shia uprise, and of course we helped them 2 get rid of saddam
but irony is exactly same people uprised against us(even names were same--al sadr's)than we called them terorist(that was the story about falluja)
    and we start killing them.
saddam couldn't clean it up,we r helping now

we have blair, usa have bush, italy berlosconi they all modern democratic dictator

we don;t have democracy thats myth

if u r against democracy u allways stay as an evil and they'll kill u

    history repeats itself

    tony blair said today:

if u give your votes 2 lib dem's,u will help torries 2 come from back door

well i guess he's admitting that our voting system is shit
what's the point of democratic election if u can't give your vote whoever u want

they'r so greedy they want 2 be the only person and they r setting up clever election system and pushing u 2 vote 4 goverment
