i dont listen to much rap but he was always pretty cool, but yo check out the the song "KRS one" by sublime its awesome.
KRS-One is definately my fav emcee. You just reminded me that I have to replace my The Sneak Attack album because it snapped in half. Even though I think he's getting a little preachy, he's still numero uno. I think his bests are The Return of the Boom Bap and I Got Next.
Although they are two very different styles, I prefer Jurassic 5 or Black Star to KRS-One. But, hell, let's all forget that and just turn up the real hard beats and don't rap.
KRS-one is one of the only rappers i'll still listen to... hes not commercialized like all these other plastic wrapped rappers out there.... his music was intelligent and didnt concern simple stupid shit like cars and money and all the other bullshit rappers put out today.... his lyrical style is insane.... i love the verse on Sound Of Da Police where he compares officers to overseers......
