I had this bright idea to splash beads of beer on this spiders web. ( I got the idea after watching it position itself over a dropplet of water to drink) and so here it comes out of its hole again and drinks. Haha! shoulda seen it stagger and wobble as it headed back to its hole! I didn't see it for a few days! Was that crewl or what?
Didn't know alcohol affected other carbon-based lifeforms. Haha. That reminds me of this fly we had in our dorm room. We were chilling and smoking some herb, and this fly repeatedly flew to the inside of the fan, where it hung on to the end without hitting the rotor. Eventually, he got out of the fan, and we blew some smoke in is direction, and afterwards, he was trippin', hehe. He hung around our room from then on until he died, even when we opened the door, he didn't leave. We named him Alfonzo, he was a chill fly, man.
i really hope that the spider story is true. If i ever find out it isn't i will die a little inside forever.
Did you watch a Bug's Life? Fruit flies have a life span of 24 hours, house flies can live for up to about a month. Alfonzo was a pretty big fly already, so he was probably getting on towards the latter end of his life ...
