Don't you feel special! Okay, here it is. In what ways do proteins and nucleic acids differ from carbohydrates and lipids?
protein comes from beans and fish but carbohydrates come from beans and oatmeal lipids are that stuff they put on french toast..mmmm
But where does nucleic acid fit in to all that? I think the question begs are more detailed response.
Fuck; If you had asked me this when I was a sophomore, I would have been all OVER it. Sadly, I am now to the point where I recognize words and concepts I once learned... but have since either legitimately forgotten, displaced with art history facts, poetry terms and devices, and british literary time periods, or smoked out of my memory. I remember ribosomes... and . . . well there it went.
ok proteins make muscles ya know like you get it in meat and fish nucleic acids i think make DNA or somethin carbohydrates are like starches and sugars and lipids are you fatty acids, waxes and oils
Lipids and carbs are defaced like crazy in today's modern mainstream diets. They strike fear in the hearts of many. Proteins and nucleic acid are building blocks people don't really pay attention to.
I'm a little drunk, and I don't feel like typing up a coherent response. So I'll let my good friend wikipedia do the talkin'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proteins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nucleic_acids http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbohydrates http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipids Just condense whats there and you'll have your answer.
