_______________________ You said independence and wanting her to help you out in the same sentence. If you want to be free than you have to make it on your own. If you want to stay tied down than you can beg for stuff.
i feel ya holly my moms a great person but has never really been a mom more like someone who worked a lot and tried to be the cool parent who spoils her kid to make up for it. shes honestly lucky im not a crackhoe i probobly would have turned out a lot worse if it werent for my grandparents.
The type of "helping out" I was talking about was purely emotional and mental. I can take care of every other part of things on my own, but as a child, a blooming and frightened adult, I need my mama's backing on decisions I'm making, not her put down...I want to know that no matter what I do, I have her love and understanding. That's helping out.
Question: Will she try to sabotage the trip? She mentioned taking you to the airport at one time. Will she up and say "no" the morning you're supposed to leave? Might want to get your friend to take you just in case. As for any help you might need out here, you know you're covered.
My scholarship was a general scholarship provided by my uni for all of my hard work in high school...and to maintain it I need a 3.25, which is harder to maintain then I thought...:&
