Hello. My plant is a male one. What should i do??? Should i keep it or should i throw it away and start planting a new one??? Cause all it is growing is cluster of balls. Thanks
Keep it if you want to produce some seeds. Other than that there is no point in wasting your time with it as you won't be able to get high off it. Some people I know smoke it anyway for the sake of smoking it.
Ok. But will the seeds from this plant produce only male plants??? Because if its seeds produce only male plants then i don't think it's worth keeping the seeds.
I hope you know the story about the Birds and the bees. A male plant produces pollen (fine yellow/white dust) The wind carries the dust to the female plant and the pollen settles on the females pistils (flowers). The female has now been pollinated and will now go on to produce seeds. If the female plant does not get any of the male pollen onto her she will not be pollinated and will not produce seeds and this will produce Sensimilla. So the male on it's own does not make seeds. Hope you have a better understanding of it now.
That's was very educating!! Thanks. Now another question (sorry!). So let's say that the female is pollinated. The seeds that it will produce, will they grow both male and female plants???
As above^ I take it you know what hermaphrodite is.? This is how they produce and sell feminised seeds. When I need to start a new crop I always buy 100% female seeds that will produce female plants. They cost loads more but itleast there's no worry of a male popping up to ruin the crop.
