I'm sure this book has probably been discussed before, but I was wondering what you thought of it. I thought it got slightly boring at times....but overall, it was really good.

  2. it wasn't boring for a book written in under 2 weeks fueled by pot and whisky on an enourmous scroll

My favorite book. You definitely need to be in the right state of mind to be reading it---just kind of a chill book. Definitely changed the way I think of things though.

I liked it when he scored a mexican girlfriend in the bus. For me thats just freedom. It liberated me.
I also met some real nice girls in the bus.
    Thanks Kerouac

I'm actually reading this at the moment, for the first time, and am about 1/2 way through. I'm really enjoying it too. I love stories about travel & road-trips, and the feeling of freedom that evokes.
