I recently got a spoon, that was used once by a few ppl. I'm not sure how "clean" 1 or 2 of the people are, so I want to sanitize the pipe. How can i do this? Rubbing alcohol? boil in water and _____? etc...

I would suggest 2 or 3 industrial acetone baths. Being how acetone will kill just about anything, and thc is soluble in it, after the acetone baths rinse with clean water and let air dry. You'll be resin free and all.

well we had this same problem once, the trick is to never use your own pipe if your worried about it, and never hit it after the "dirty" people, let someone else get in that and then hit it after. you ever smoked with an old hobo? whoa buddy i was freakin out later.

    sanitisation for dummies:

    hold lighter in one hand
    hold pipe in other hand
hold lighter flame on pipe mouthpiece
    take a bow

make sure after you hold the lighter to it for a good 2-3 minutes that you stick it up to your mouth and see how it hits

haha... yeah stonerbill has a point, it can be as simple as holding your lighter to the mouthpiece, as 'germs' (if you want to believe in them, they are not real) wouldn't survive in the flame's temperature.
