Some folks in Wisconsin want to put Tabby in the crosshairs. Would you like to stick up for the cats and tell the WI governor that this is not acceptable? Visit http://dontshootthecat.com/ For info and ways to help.
I got to know him when he was homeless, and hanging around my friends house. Whenever I'd visit, he'd come running to see me, even if he was half a block away, I'd see him charging towards me. He'd purrr so loud, but was bone thin, with a big hole in his hindquarter. My friend said I should adopt him, I hemmed and hawed, and he said he'd call the pound...he's not a big pet lover. So I bought a litter box, carry case, etc. I set the carry case down on his porch, and my buddy walked right in. I named him Orangey. That was about six years ago, and now he is maybe even overweight. Last fall he took off on me, and three weeks later, on a Friday night, I told myself that was my last call to the pound, if he wasn't there by then, he was gone. I had given up hope, and was quite sad to have him gone. That very night, I heard a noise on my deck, and there he was, thinner, but back home. What a special treat that was.... I wish you much success in your quest, and hope you save some of these little angels.... meaow.
I signed the petition & forwarded the link to everyone in my address book. I NEVER forward shit to people either, but this angers & saddens me...
