The universe is one, every part working for the greater whole. Stars unite planets, planets give life. Electrons design atoms.Water carves stone, but it gives life to animals. Everything works for somethingelse, and in turn recieves something. But humans have conscience. With this, humans are able to question the Nature of the Universe, disrupting this cycle. We pollute, fight wars, and use up natural materials. As long as humans continue to question the nature of the universe, this cycle will be forever corrupted by our careless actions. The only way we will allow the Earth and the cycle of the universe to thrive is to destory huam consciousness. We must continue the cycle for the greater whole.

all things are cycles, even us and our minds. our conscience isnt breaking the cycle, our conscience is making us think that we are better than something else in some way. that is the nature self awarness, to know that you are not something else, and to question why you are not something else, is to think that you are superior. destroy the conscience and you will break your own disruption of the cycle as you perceive it, but the true cycle is always there, everywhere, everytime, no matter what.

If the true cycle is there, what are we as a race doing to help the Earth or even the Universe? All we are doing is agitating the natural order.

Colours: Your views are very, very similar to mine. =)

I see it as, humans serve themselves and only themselves, but because of this, we lay ruin to Mother Earth and the general balance of the universe. As long as we serve ourselves and do not keep our minds open to the nature of balance and harmony, we will never exist in balance and harmony with Nature, and we will always lose in the end. Humans don't need a higher consciousness level, that may even be impossible altogether; what humans need is a higher level of caring for the planet and universe on which our existance depends solely. Until then, we will continue to dig ourselves into our hole, until one day we reach the core, and Mother Earth's magma comes to rebaptize the planet. (Okay, I'm joking about the last part, that's a metaphor, hehe)

    Balance and harmony,
    Hikaru

Just think of the possibilities. If we spend so much god damn money on armys and shit, there may not be the 3rd world countries. It makes me rly sad to think about how many more animals there would have been if it wasnt for us. I dont see why we have to make it so bloody complicated and feel the need to blow up shit...i hope we get whats coming...

This is a bit of a strange loop. It's only because we have conscience that we feel we're wrong to be acting in certain ways - plundering the earth etc. If it was destroyed in people, they'd just become even worse than they already are.

Conscience is part of the natural order -

If we had no conscience, we would presumably be blissfully ignorant of the bad things we do. If you disagree, please tell me what name you give to the faculty in us which distinguishes right from wrong.

That's right man. I also agree with Hikaru, because it doens't need to be a total raise in human consciousness. I think there are a few easy things to do (easier than everyone becoming enlightened, anyways). We need to actually care about the world for it's own sake (and not just what it can give to us). We also must have more focus on spirutality rather than material things. The two are actually related. If we can see ourselves connected to the world (like native, primitive peoples did (and do) in their spirituality) then we would care for the world like we'd care for a family member. These people had their lives centered, everything was seen in terms of their spiritual views. Today we are far from center. We have religion there, but then the rest of life is over here. Sunday is for religion, the rest of the days for everything else. The natives generally didn't make that distinction. Every day was holy.

This isn't to say they lived on some higher plane of consciousness. They just had balanced, centered lives, living in harmony with their world, because they felt connected to it. How many of us feel isolated from everyone and everything else? We are a culture of divisions, not of unity and cohesion. We need to start integrating these seemingly seperate issues of spirituality and work and leisure and everything else into a single life view.

If the conscience were erased, humans wouldnt act selfishly and wrongly in the first place. Its only because we act to comfort only ourselves that we do wrong. If we simply lived in tune with nature and did our part to respect the earth, then we would be following the cycle.
I dont see how conscience is part of a natural order- i see it as a glitch, or rather a mutation

Everything settles into its place of comfort- entropy. Even you saying "like, OMG, like, all these people are destroying the earth trying to make it comfy for themselves, we need to like, stop 'em or somethin" is you trying to make the earth more comfy for yourself.

Maybe your pride in your sense of right comfort is the source of your discomfort with the way things are. Let Go, Let God. lol...

Can you prove this is not a natural part of nature? It's inescapable.

Working for the whole is working for yourself as well. You are part of the whole. When you serve only yourself, but not the whole, this is wrong action, am I wrong?

is it possible to act for the whole, and not for the self? everything we do is the result of our needs, whether that be eating, sleeping, helping someone, dancing, killing someone, or otherwise. while our actions may benefit others or hurt them, they always benefit ourselves in some way. we always act for the self, not matter what decision we make.

also, what is acting for the whole? what if by slowing down our spread of industry and technology we prevent space travel and planet colonization. what if spreading our immense knowledge everywhere is better for the whole, rather then preserving what once was on the planet earth

are humans unnatural? in the entire universe, are we somehow different because of our inteligence and civilization? why is it that a smaller brain and a lesser civilization, like that of an ant, is not unnatural? i stand by my point that all inteligence causes a self rightiousness, at some times manifesting its self by beleiving that it, and its kin, are unnatural, and are disrupting the natural order, whether for good or bad. this is a side effect of inteligence, not a real thing.

I don't believe we are so restricted. If we find true inner peace, we would know the right actions for the whole. As it is we're groping in the dark and know only ourselves, our small little ego selves. Turn on a light and see the truth!
