sometimes before I smoke I get really light headed. And it kinda feels like I've taken a hit, but yet I haven't. Like today, I was doing some research on the comp. for a class and decided to stop by the forums. Well I decided to smoke after I finished, but then I got light headed and distracted... the same way I feel after smoking. Maybe I was just really anxious or something. I dunno why because I always reward myself with a smoke after studying (the only way I've been able to make it through college ) anyways, i decided to stop studying and smoke... tonight's plans: smoke more and watch a mitch hedberg special (RIP) -al
yes i get it just as im about to light up a bong though its a rush of energy and anticipation almst, its like another drug but its not like being high, imo, just like.. an adrenaline rush or something.. which is wierd when you just standing there
Ever heard of Pavlov? he was a pyschologist or something that did some study that relates to this i think. In my psych class we were given some kool-aid powder, and every time my teacher said pavlov, we would put some of the kool-aid on our tongues. we did this for like 5 mins, than one time, he said pavlov, but we weren't allowed to eat any kool-aid, and my mouth was majorly watering. so i think since you usually smoke as a "reward", it might be something like that. that's my theory.
pavlov took three dogs and fed them meat everytime he rang a bell over and over and then after that if he would ring the bell the dogs would salivate in anticipation of the meat. We discussed in another thread about the recognition of things that trigger memories, such as getting stoned and remembering last time u got stoned, or pricking your finger while you look at the color red so next time u see u red u think pain. anticipation is quite the phenomenon when you thinka bout it.
lol man ..u knnow what the fuck youre talking about. you are smarter than you appear...and i mean that in a good way dude
he actually blew meat powder into their mouths, but yeah, you had the idea, so it really doesn't matter at this point
