I have ducks in my pool every summer. Their names are Shiloh and Lulu (don't ask).

one time my pop lept out of a raft and grabbed a duck for a moment before it slipped away
it was incredible
another time the ugly duckling swam up to me as i played my guitar and smiled and bopped its head with the rhythmn
this also blew my mind
the other ducks ignored me

 

I like the ducks down in the park by the lake. The babies are so cute....
It won't be long now, the males were busy trying to impress the females last week....

Sometimes there are a couple in the fountain, they come right up to you for bread.

 

I love ducks. I love mallards, canadian geese, and swans.

So damn funny Mitch is missed terribly.

Some regular came into the store the other day and asked us what ducks ate. He actually sounded surprised when my boss told him bread. Who the hell doesn't know ducks eat bread?

Mitch was excellent to listen to. He was hysterical. We laughed hard many times. Such a shame for what happened to him. He had great talent.
