Hey everyone.. I am currently on concerta for a.d.d. but i am also depressed by my pschiatrist thought i should deal with my a.d.d. first and see if i was depressed by that, but apparently not, because i talked to my doctor and he said concerta works right away because it is a stimulant...
So he gave me all these names, which i am looking up after i write this and i was wondering if you can give me some help, not tell me what to take, but give me kinda of an idea of if that works for you or not

    1. wellbutrin
    2. zoloft
    3. paxil
    4. celexa
    5. lexapro
    thanks everyone
    peace out

Concerta is an extended release form of methylphenidate, which is the same drug in Ritalin. It is a stimulant.

Wellbutrin increases dopamine. The Concerta already does some of that. All of the others you listed are "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors"(SSRI's). They are all pretty similar, but, out of that list, I would suggest Lexapro. It tends to work quicker and have less side effects, and it is not associated with the withdrawal symptoms typically seen when discontinuing SSRI's (though I still would not stop it cold turkey).
