yea right, LA is gonna lose. No team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA finals and its not gonna happen this time. LA doesn't have what it takes in this series. Detroit is gonna win. you can see the flames in the eyes of Detroit when there playing, you don't see that with LA.

As a diehard Celtics fan - I certainly hope that your claims don't come true. I have enjoyed watching the Piston's dominate the Lakers in every game of the series so far even the one game LA actually one on a miracle.

Grew up in westboro fitzy - somehow my journey has me here on the suncoast of Florida, but my pride will always rest in Boston.

 

yea, i find that people who grew up in or around boston area sports usually keep that pride with them wherever they go, not matter how long they have been gone from the boston sports seen.

 

Very True - was born in Mass and have since lived in now 10 different states and you will never see me a fan of any other teams than the Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins.

 

Blah, I couldn't care less. I am not interested in professional sports or the overpaid idiots who play them.

 

hell yea man. i don't know if i will ever leave boston, but i know i will always support the teams. if i happen to leave, then so be it, i'll let my life run its course.

i think the sox goign all the way is very possible. they definatley have the offense to do so and with nomar and trot getting back, the offense could be increased. pitching, pedro looks like hes getting back on track and schilling - hopefully he doesn't have to go on the DL. Wakefield needs to get comfortable again. and Foulke is one of the best closers out there. and how there playing without some of the major players is incredible...if all healthy, we can win.

 

I could've not said it better myself! We won last night but those fucking Yanks won also ...

 

i love how we just turned this thread into the boston sports seen, even though it began as a LA Lakers winning the NBA title thread. oh man, the irony. hahaha

as long as we can keep up with the damn yanks with the injured players like we have, i don't see any reason why we can't take it all.

you got one thing right. i'm gonna sit right back....and watch something happen and it isn't going to be the Lakers coming back to win. Its gonna be them losing.

 

Ahh... this reminds me of my younger days, when I was 13 and obssesed with the NBA and basketball..h.ell, I needed a hoby. I could write a bloody 10 page sports report on this series, HST style, like I used to do when I was younger... but I won't, i'm over that... I was good at it though, NBA.com even linked to my writing a couple of times...

All I will say that this series is a joke, a defensive domination, and practicly no solid offense... A Clippers - Bulls game has more exitement than this.

of course i have no faith in the Lakers. why would a boston fan ever support them. that makes no sense at all.

 

The only thing that's going to be unfolding in front of my eyes is the wrapper from the burger I'm going to enjoy as the Lakers suffer yet another embarrassing defeat.

Just face it, dude, Detroit's defense and rebounding is too much for the Lakers to adjust to, it has been a huge factor throughout the series and will continue to be.
