what are some of all your favorite teachings of people,-(indian teachings and such, eastern philosophies) such as philosophies, ways of life..i just love learning new ways of thinking and such, but I can't seem to find someone that makes me want to read everything they write..any suggestions?
Outside of my three grouping religion (Christianity, Wicca, and Taoism) I have always enjoyed Unitarian Unversialism... even though the concept will never work. Not with fundamentalists in any religion around
i've found that carlos castaneda's style of writing, along with his benefactor's stlye of teaching seems to fit my psyche more than anything else i've read. after that would be baba ramm dass (be here now), timothy leary, terrance mckenna, and robert anton wilson. these writers may be more enjoyable to read than some of the more impersonal spiritual writing.
