Who originally did this song? Was it Quiet Riot? The Oasis cover kicks major ass... millions of times better than Quiet Riot's crap.
Yea.... right.. Quiet Riot rocked the 80's just like your mom rocked your cradle in the 80's and if anyone was gonna do a cover of cum on feel the noise oasis sure aint gonna do a better version than the original Quiet Riot version.... quiet riot would beat on them pansy brits
actually I don't think it was Quite Riot who originally did this song. It was a british band called Slade...............
yeah noddy holder and his band slade . late 70/s i think . a wierd looking but sound man .noel did say that when he was a young teenager he was inspired by noddy.
Yeah, I thought somebody else had done it before, I think methos is right. The runaways covered it too, but it's been so long since I heard their version! haha I'll check out the oasis version soulrebel.... thnx for the info!
Are you all talking about that song that goes "Come on feel the noise, girls rock your boys, we get wild wild wild" or whatever?
Yes it's that song Syd, and to hear a 30 second sample of it go to oasisnet.com, go to the music, singles and click Don't look back in anger. And here is where you can hear Slade's original version: http://www.mp3.com/tracks/2645318/dl_streams.htmll Personally I think Quiet Riot's version is the best.
Don't hit me for this, but I really like Quiet Riot's version regardless of if they sang it first. Also, could someone please tell me which of their albums that one is on? I'm trying to add to my music collection and have been looking for that one for quite a while now. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
Its on Metal Health. theyre other songs are "mamma were all krayzee now" and "slick black cadillac". none of them are original songs. thats why i dont like them. I do have the vinyl though.
heres the pic. I couldnt resist using the 8track one. its funny. i didnt know they came out with that on 8track.
I dl'ed both versions last nite... Slade wasn't that bad, Quiet Riot's cover was fucking impossible to listen to.
