I used to live in LA and most of the people seemed the opposite of depressed, I'm not sure i can believe that one......some of the people were so perky that they deserved execution

it's weird because they are about 20 minutes across the Bay from each other, although in my opinion, Tampa FAR outranks St. Pete in the depression factor. That must make Tampa Bay and West-Central Florida the most depressed metropolitan region in the country. Score! :(

Portland is well known for being depressing...its gray and rainy almost all of the time

and Salt Lake City..being around those perky mormons and drinking low alcohol beer is enough to make most people depressed.

depression has nothing to do with where you live. It has to do with you! I guess boo hoos have moved in packs now? What a stupid survey. Some college student has wasted fine money that his or her parents forked out for that survey. Peace....

I doubt ive seen alot of LA happy people, you must of met the prozac addicts that populate the city, either that or they were probably oblivious to everything around them and didnt care they were living in shit.

Where in LA did you live?
