How long did it take you to start really noticing the effects of yoga on your body, and spirit. I noticed almost right away. But, I've been steadily doing yoga for about a month, and I'm really noticing my posture has improved, I sit up very straight now, without having to remind myself all the time.
I'm only on my second week...but if feels great. I am so much more productive now that Yoga is a part of my life.
yeah for me it started to become awesome around week two... once you get to about two or three months of intense(5x's) a week workout, your life really begins to improve, and change.... ive become lazy in this past school year and havent kept up with a rigorous schedule..which i need to get more serious about, but the intermitten practices that I do do are still very beneficial... I think i gained a sense of that place in all of us where we are one..sometimes known as the atman in hinduism... and that we are all one... it was easier to see my purpose in life, and spread happiness to other people... my body was more efficient, so even though I probably shouldnt have, drinking alcohol effected me more, and quicker..and i had better dreams...nothing could really upset me cause my happiness was found inside.... also i would say to make sure you sometimes practice yoga without any plan in mind, just let your body follow your spirit...it will guide you through the meditations even if its just lying there for an hour, or doing some back stretches..i find this form of worship more meaningful than excersize like routines... much love and light and always remember, that youre constantly doing yoga..yoga is life, the union of all...it is what it is...its everything!...=) Adam
i only do yoga twice a week due to little money and space. i had my third class today and it felt really good, i feel more active, my mind seems to be more "awake" to some extent...i've also noticed that i've been feeling calmer and much more together. i love yoga, right after practice i feel so high, its a really nice feeling.
