maybe drugs are why they're in "that situation". Drugs are not helping them. People want to know they're helping, not encouraging behavior that will not really help the person. If drugs are more of a priority than food, then that is a serious addiction. I know plenty of people who got out of that situation- drugs, homelessness...and they didn't do it by anyone feeling sorry for them or giving them drug money. Tough love...

 

Godamnit! Why is there such a fuss about this thread? One of my kids did something good, for once, you vultures all cram up his ass... Yeah, he talked about it? So? In this day and age, you take all you can. The days where good deeds not talked about are two good deeds are gone. Even now, I'm thinkingeth of having my name changedeth to "God Inc.".

 

yeah, well, i'm of the it WAS a good deed opinion. Regardless of what they do with the cash, DarkLunacy gave of his good will. The giving is what counts.

And homeless people need luv too, kitty fabulous. And cash. Hope your life never turns to the point where you need to find that out - I'm honestly, not hostiley, wishing that NEVER happens to you.
