http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7643818/ I like the last line of the article: And that raises a pressing question for athletic rules bodies, from USA Track & Field Inc. to the International Olympic Committee to the organizers of your local Sunday 10K race: Should computerized footwear be banned from competition as performance-enhancing? I’ve got an idea for avoiding the anticipated controversy. Let’s make everyone compete in bare feet.
Why pay $250 for a pair of fancy (though ugly and constraining) computerized shoes, when you can pay $0 for your own feet, which have a far, far more advanced computer working for them (your brain)? People are so stupid (and shoe businesses are too clever).
I work with computers a lot, and the last thing I want is to have computerized stuff on my feet too But I'm sure those computerized shoes will become popular
Yes, I know. The part I posted was the last paragraph of the article. Those weren't my words. They were those of the author of the article.
