You still have three years to decide before you can legally get one without parental consent. It's nice to want one and all, but give yourself those three(+) years to find something that really speaks to you, something you genuinely want to have permanently placed on your body. Just deciding on something because you think it's neat looking isn't gonna endear you to it in 30 years down the road.

I'm gonna tell you the same thing I got told at 15; "wait until you're 18" Honestly, if I'd gotten what I wanted when I was 15, I'd have a huge basketball on my bicep. The point being is you have plenty of time to think, you don't even know exactly what you want, and you're tastes will probably change. Getting a tattoo for a tattoo's sake can be regretable. Peace
*K* when it comes to tatts I have a strange art to share. I have about thirty hours invested into randomm tatts all 0over my body... My firth was a rising sun on the swell of my back, then I moved to a quarter sized sun on the back of my neck, My newest piece which still has twenty hours to go, 12 down are pixie wings bound by a leather corset back piece, It goes from my shoulders to the bottom of my a**. While working on my wings I also have cherries behind my ear and a new butterfly on the top of my foot.....................SOOOOOO here are my ideas to you.... I've been dying for some one to listen!!!!!! 1. The game operation on the chest.... 2. Holsters and old fashiond guns around the waist... 3. Your name ( on the a**) Thats all for naw but I'm sure I'll have more!!!!!
I definitely agree. If I had gotten what I wanted to get when I was 15, I would have an ugly ass elf... on my ass. Yeah, I would wait til you're 18, because it's amazing the difference those three years make in your judgement calls.

ziggifly, it's not very good to get a tatoo at such a you age, even 18 is a little bit early, since you are still growing. And the tatoo sort of grows with it, and might look pretty stoopid. There are so many reasons for waiting with getting one. Don't be impatient, one day you'll be happy that you waited.
