Why not just drink some coffee, or tea...or better yet just get enough fiber in the form of fruits and veggies.
I just like how this subject has attracted 3 pages of posts already. -In reality, if we have sufficient Vitamin C and magnesium, we will not have any problems with our bowels, because too much of either of these (or carnitine) gives watery poo. So if we take supplements of both to bowel tolerance we need not ever have problems with constipation again. As well our bodies will have sufficient of both of these for healthy immune, muscular & peristaltic function. In other words, magnesium allows the gut muscles to push it along and Vit C makes it softer and hurries it along! According to the scientific community you're supposed to empty your load 2-3 times a day. If you don't, you are low on a needed vitamin or mineral. And also - who the fuck came up with the phrase, "No shit sherlock"? Why is Sherlock Holmes linked to feces, (and dont say because they both start with "SH") and why is it an extremely annoying repetition that people have a habit of saying? Argghh I'm gonna jump off the second story I'm so fustrated! Damn you United States society, Damn you!!!!
