I am in a group of artist's that have a monthly contest on EBAY. This months theme was easy...Alice in Wonderland.

But next month...Twilight Zone...has me blank.
    Any ideas??????

I need to come up with an idea by the 10th or so of May as I have to have my entry ready to list on the 20th.
    Thanks,
    teepi

I thought about Twighlight Zone. I think that the modern writers suck. You need to watch the old 50's Twighlight Zone's to get an example of the quality of the story that needs to be for the Twighlight Zone. I tried to think of something scary and ironic at the same time as a theme for the Twighlight Zone. I have spent alot of time thinking about it, but I haven't spent alot of time thinking about a storyline for an episode. I will give you a clue, listen to the intro. on the old films and they TELL YOU how to write a good twighlight zone story.

I agree, watch those older ones...they were great. If you can't watch those...you can probably find online lists of all the episodes/story lines. Maybe you could read the descriptions and try to depict the scenes using your imagination....that could turn out interesting.

    I love twighlight skies.

Why not bring twightlight zone to reality, the time of the evening where the sky is a little surreal and everything which is normal just looks a little out of place??

I was wondering with these contests.... i have NO success selling my ebay paintings which upsets me lots... but if i did these compotitions do you think i'd have more chance of selling? i wouldnt mind if they only sold for a coupld of pounds/dollars.

Thanks all you have inspired me.
Fleassy, the ones I put into the contest get LOTS of hits, right now my caterpillar has over 100 people that have looked at it and 8 bids.
It is my second time entering and last month was the same, over 100 hits and my little 3 blind mice painting got 18 bids and it sold for 46 dollars.
PM me if your interested in joining, the moderator for the group has to send you an invite to your ebay ID user name....

Wow, the minute you mention Twilight Zone, I think of the classic episode "Eye of the Beholder". It's probably the most memorable one of the lot. I bet you could go to town on that theme:

I watched Twightlight zone last night. It was good. I wish we still had good writers for television. Most all the story lines on todays shows pretty much suck.

yes lizard I agree. We cut out all the channels except for the networks and the shows suck.
There are 3-4 shows I will watch now and occasionally a news show or Kentucky life.
    Sitcoms totally insult your intelligence.
And who the hell cares what Brittany or ben or jen or Brad are spending their money on??? Or who their screwing or what their eating? Weird.

I was going to suggest "Eye of the Beholder," but it seems that has already been done.
