High Hopes is my favourite song... Can't decide my favourite album though.

My favorite song is "Wots... Uh The Deal", off the album "Obscured By Clouds". Which is also my favorite, and the best, Pink Floyd album ever made. Absolutely no question about it. I suggest any Floyd fan immediately purchase this album, as for some reason i have not yet discovered, many people don't know it even exists.

 

yup, I know that exists, and I would say that album is very underrated. its one of my faves, definitely in the top 5. most critics pan this album though, for some reason.

Have you even heard all the albums... A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell are absolutely disgusting.

 

*nods* I used to have Momentary Lapse Of Reason on LP but never bothered to get it on cd...from what i remember the only 2 good songs were Sorrow and Learning To Fly.

I've seen 'Pink Floyd' live: performing 'The Wall' at Earls Court,London in 1980.

I was only 15 at the time & still at school.
I feel quite privileged because Roger Waters was still in the line-up at the time.
Sadly;I was way,way too young to see Syd Barrett in the band.

My favourite Pink Floyd Album is: 'Soundtrack from the Film: 'More''.

Initially,on release,it had to compete in the L.P. charts with Led Zeppelin I & it went higher up the chart than that.

The reason I like it so much is because it is largely; the un-credited stage show that Pink Floyd put together at The Queen Elizabeth Hall in January 1969 called: 'The Man' & 'The Journey' .

If you haven't ever heard it & you're a fan of the Floyd/Heavy Metal/Progressive Rock.......................maybe treat yourself with a copy of the C.D. ? (Why are Pink Floyd C.D.s so expensive? ).

I could have bought the film on DVD but it was expensive & I'm not really keen on overt druggie- films!.

 

Yes I have, I still think they're great. Just not up to par with earlier Pink Floyd.
