If you do not believe in any form of Bible Propchey or Bible Codes this thread is not for you. You will burn in eternal hell fire when the time comes. For all of you that understand that 2000 of the 2500 Bible Propchies have already come to pass please read. The next 500 propchies have to deal with End of Days, the time period we are NOW living in. How am I so sure that these terrible events will take place and Bible Propchey will be fulfilled? Well, look at the signs. First of all EVERY SINGLE sign that Jesus told us to watch have come to pass. He said the weather would be strange. I don't know about anyone else, but it seems strange to me that it's colder in the West than it is in the East these days. Last week I was in 83 degree weather, today it snowed. Strange? He also said that there would be great Earthquakes and natural disasters. I need not mention the Indian Ocean quake. There has been a rise in natural disasters over the past years. Yes, natural disasters have always happened, but they are increasing and the Earth is showing signs of great change that is about to come. Many areas are overdue for HUGE quakes and volcanoes, perhaps all the tension the Earth is building up will all be reassessed at the same time. Jesus also said there would be wars and rumors of wars all over the world. That could not ring more true in any other time than ours. With the aid of the media rumors of wars are everywhere and so are wars. He said many false prophets and christs would come. We have already seen some such as Heavens Gate and Waco. To sum all it up, what jesus said would happen right before the End is indeed what is happening. Now to the title of this thread, RUSSIA WILL ATTACK AMERICA SOON!!! See in the Bible it talks about a mystery Babylon, a nation that did not exist when the Bible was written (AMERICA!!!!!). This mystery Babylon would be completely destroyed at the begging of the End of Days. Now when the Bible talks about Mystery babylon it does not mean the actual city of Babylon, it means the most powerful nation of the time, that is what babylon is. The Bible says this Mystery Babylon will be on many waters and have access to many waters. America is one of the only nations that have coasts on 2 different oceans. We also have many lakes and not to mention the Great Lakes (land of many waters). Mystery babylon will be the economical and trade center of the World. It is painfully clear that America is just that. Mystery Babylon will be filled with sinners and nonbelievers. America is FILLED with sin, almost everyone I know sins, even me. Las Vegas is the capital of sin IN THE WORLD. "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" ring any bells? Mystery babylon will have riches and more than enough resources, sounds like America. Mystery Babylon is refereed to as "her" and it's symbol is an Eagle. America is considered a "her" thanks to the good old statue of Liberty, plus our national symbol is the Eagle. Mystery Babylon will have the richest people and best living conditions in the world. Right now most average class citizens in America would pass as rich in many other nations. We are, or were, the richest nation. There are many other connections that can be made between Mystery Babylon and America, but I think I have gotten that point across. Now in the Bible is says that this Mystery Babylon will be attacked from a nation to the North. Mystery babylon will not only be destroyed in one day, but in ONE HOUR. This leaves only one nation that even has the ability to do that, and that's Russia. What a surprise Russia is to our North, aye? Now how will this destruction come about? Well since America has not had to worry about invasion since the war of 1812 we build all of our major cities on the coast lines. A very stupid thing to do when it comes to war. So Russia will see that America is spent in Iraq and other areas around the world. We are VERY VERY weak at home right now. The bible says that Mystery Babylon will be destroyed with arrows that bring fire and death (aka. MISSILES). It is a very easy and realistic scenario to pull off. Russia moves subs close to the East and West coasts and launches thousands of missiles (probably nukes, nation destroyed in one hour). All the major cities are wiped out, then the rest of the nation is killed by a plague (also in the bible). This plague will be radiation sickness. The American people feel to safe today. Two oceans can only protect us for so long. America can and WILL fall like every other great empire, but we will go out in one big puff. The Bible also states that mystery Babylon will glorify herself and will be filled with self-lovers, still sounds like the good old white, red, and blue to me. Listen people for your own good start doing your own research into the End Times, you will see that we ARE IN THEM. Plus any of you who know the Bible Code it also agrees that America is about to be destroyed, at least by the end of 2006. The Bible Code is VERY VERY real by the way and it is the sealed book that God says will not be opened until the End of Days. The Bible Code was just recently discovered and now understood. I suggest you all wise up and realize that perhaps huge events like these take place. Just cause most of you have grown up in peace and safety does not mean it will last forever. Just as in the days of Noah no one believed him, then they all died. They all died because men had become filled with sin. Sodom and Gomorrah were destoryed because they to became filled with sin. They to were warned, no one believed. Today America has become filled with sin. I don't think anyone can disagree with me that every generation gets worse and worse and that our nation has become filled with sin. Sex and drugs is everywhere and abortions happen everyday. Not since Noah, Sodom, and Gomorrah has there been so much sin. God is about to prove he exists again, I suggest you all get ready.

 

Jerry, you really should post your sources, it would help me follow what you're trying to say. I believe that like myself and others, there were visionaries back then as well.

Daniel is a good example in the Bible. For example Daniel 7:1-28, it speaks of 4 beasts, empires or nations that will rise and fall. The last "had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns." This sounds to me like a symbolic vision, I've had many myself. What he describes sounds like a war machine, a tank perhaps. I believe that vision that Daniel had is predicting what is happening now to the USA. But we all have our beliefs, read Revelations and study up for yourself. The world "as we know it" is ending, but life will continue on no matter what.

That's what that thread is about in my signature. A new beginning. I don't believe that there is any 'all-powerful' being that will punish us, punishment is a man-made emotion and concept, remember that.

I do not believe that Russia has the capacity, nor the brainpower, to mount an attack against the USA, considering that NATO would stand up and have something to say about that. Can't do it by air--we'd have their first wave of bombers blown out of the sky before they hit U.S. soil. Submarines are rather old-school, so forget that. Nuke? Hell, we all have our fingers on that trigger....and no one really cares to initiate such combat. So how else are they going to attack?

When the time comes for us to be judged, I will be waiting. But I am not going to bite my fingers in worry, anticipating when this could occur. I will be patient and let our good Lord come on his own accord.

Russia is going through a peroid of decay, but there might be some upticks here and there in its economy, especially as it transitions to capitalism.

The new emerging threat to the U.S., economically and politically, is China. China is predicted to have the world's largest economy by 2020. China, from what I understand, has nukes too.
