Eeyore's Birthday Party

Austin Tx has a weird little party for Pooh's friend Eeyore each year. Great family fun. Go wild with costumes, bring blankets & drums & all fun things.
This year's date is Saturday, April 30th; at Pease Park.

 

Yeah be there with my wings on oh yeah and bells .Lots of fun this one is about the only free one left in austin they even charge for marley fest now used to be just can donations

 

hey, sounds like a good time.. i wish i could go, but im nowhere near texas.. lol

 

is there anyway you could move it along to july 7th-27th ??!!?? lol ive got relatives over there and im gonna visit them then...as it happens im in scotland!!! anyhoo have lots of fun and cake!!! tell us about it wen its over...

anyway we'll be stoppin in at houston and then going down to corpus christi...i dunno if that makes any difference? oh the ignorance of the scottish!! haha

UT is the University of Texas; Houston is a big ugly city; but Corpus Christi is nice, check out the Lotus Flower Coffee shop on Ocean drive. Austin has tons of cool places, Zilker Park & Barton Springs, the 'Drag', Wild about Music on Congress; might be wise to stay away from Hippie Hollow, doesn't have the happy hippie vibe of years ago.

 

I do believe Eyore will be 43 this year... If I remember correctly Pooh was first published the year I was born .. Sounds like fun to me..

Cinnamom is going pure new millinium hippie (in other words, very nice tie-dye!) Pixietreeleaf will be doing the full faerie thing, wings and all that. Look for bubbles & glitter; hoping to meet some of the other central Texas folks!
