sex without condoms......

my girlfriend wants to have sex on our one year anniversary ( this friday is our 6 months) without condoms.
she is on birth control pills. how safe is it, to do it without condoms?

if she's on the pill or the patch she has a 1% chance of getting pregnant, very rare although it has happend

Get tested first.. then it's safe (if you don't cheat) you got half a year.
And indeed, there is always a chance to get pregnant, but it's very small..

I had sex without condoms alot. In fact, I've never used one with my wife, and thats been almost 4 years now. But shes pregnant now, so watch out.

 

How come you don't know this stuff?? didn't your girlfriends doctor explained everything when she got on the pill??

There is nothing you can do, except to make sure your girlfriend takes the pill everyday at the same time during the day (a few hours difference doesn't make a difference) and when she feels a bit sick or is taking other medication you have to be carefull and use a condom aswell..

But how do you know you don't got any STD's? you can never know for sure.. people lie.. except if you're each others first..

 

If she has no STD's,, nor do you, and she is really wanting to try it, I would say ok. What type of b.c. is she on? Orthotricyclen? Norplant? This is a rather touchy subject, so just be careful, especially if you are not wanting children now. Ortho I think is 98% effective; not sure about Norplant.

I feel sorry for our entire human species, cuz everyone is unable to enjoy life without a fear in the back of their mind... no matter what activity you choose. I have put a rubber, safe, raincoat, prophylactic, condom, etc. on my lil buddy maybe six times in my life, and it made a huge difference to me as far as sensation goes. Call me a hedonist, or just foolish, but I rarely have worn one. My present fiance and I never have. With my previous partner, in five years I wore one once. And in both cases these ladies did not believe in the pill, so they refused to take it. Neither one got pregnant. But anyway, I really should not be even posting this, and I apologize for doing so. It is stupid to do what I have done all my life. I could have gotten any number of STD's, and frankly I am quite puzzled why I haven't. I fathered a son 13 years ago in one try, on a night at a reggae party where I was with a stranger who I never saw again until a year later.... so I know that at least at that time my little swimmers were still good at it.

 

1st of all..DONT TRUST HER. She probably stopped taking the pills without telling you...and she wants to have a kid. Watch yourself.

 

Well it feels much better without one, but its kinda risky....as long she isnt on a low dosage then it should be ok. My friend's mom did get pregnant while on birthcontrol though.

Not to incite needless scare, but there are a few STDs that men cannot be tested for. HPV is one of them-which is partly why it's so easily spread.

To the OP: I would say have you and girlfriend get checked again (make sure she gets a pap), and if it's all good, then go for it. BC is very effective, as long as she takes it at the same time each day, every day.

i havent worn condoms in years, all my partners have been either on the pill or had that injection thing in her arse (you know the one, lasts for like 5 months or summat. forget what its called) and we've never had any problems. as long as none of you are sleeping around then i cant see why not mate.

Sex without condoms is SOOOOOOO much better. Me and my gf of 2 years only used one once, cause she had never had sex with one before and she wanted to know what it was like. She agrees that it sucks. I ALWAYS pull out though and he's on the pill. One good thing about the pill though is that she knows the day she will get her period, so you can have sex the day before her period and that should be the time of least risk, cause most likely her body has already started the process of abondoning the egg.
