ill be there friday! i was reading a bio and it said at his senior portfolio review in college he told his professors that they werent worthy of looking at his work because they didnt posses the same skills as him....
I Love Salvador! The thing that impressed me MOST about seeing his work in person, was the scale of the larger works. Some of his canvas pieces were HUGE! At one point, i literally had to hold my hand in front of my face to get an idea of perspective, his figures jumped out so much. Even simple things were so complex, and still seemed to flow. What a master! ENJOY!
Look at his work from about 500 feet away and then up close. The two different perspectives will blow your mind.
I love Dali. Not one of my favorites, but still pretty amazing. His personal life is pretty crazy too. Spanish artists are the best, in my opinion.
Super cool guy, great art but alittle freaky. I felt alittle lightheaded or off when I finished the exibit in Philly. But I like him. He's a challenge even when u finally get it it's like wow it's so simple. I like how he was political but not in a full steam ahead sort of way.
