When you're stoned, you feel time is going by so slow...BUT in reality, then wouldn't you be going more physicaly and mentally FASTER? But in stonervile your moving SLOW...so basically..if you think about it...you and time are ONE- Finnaly moving for the first time TOGETHER!!! I wrote that ^ down when i was really stoned last night. Wow it so true, my mind is blown! I wrote more stuff but its stupid and nuts. lol. But yah ever realize that????
Hmm that's a good theory.. My mind is boggling while it's expanding.. so could drugs play into quantum physics? maybe they could be the vehicle in time travel.. a drug that takes you back in time.. hmm
yeah well like if im really stoned...i get all these flashbacks and i feel like im living in the 60s..80's...or early 20th century or whever you know? haha.
i dissagree. there are two time warping effects. the most common one is when you are having fdaster thoughts. this doesnt mean faster thinkning, but faster change of ideas and new ideas. so it sometiems is the case that a minute feels like an hour. due to the fact that you are not used to having as many differnet thougths that it feels as though youve had more thoughts. when really youve not had that much more. so your thoughts are happening faster, your just having more differnet thoughts in a space of time. which is why you can lose track of your thoughts very quickly. theyre jsut comin and goin, not being held for a moment to store into short term memory. at the same tiem, sometimes you will forget about how much time has passed and so an hour will be gone in 20 minutes. it can go both ways, but its evidently better iwth the former. also, one theory as to why stoned people someteims move very very slowly is because your mind is moving much faster than your nerves, and so you actually slow your movement down because you must control every single movement. ever felt that? i get it sometiems. if i dont control every movement individually, i do, or at least seem to do it wrong. its evident when other stoned people try to take something quickly, they think ahead of their movement and so bump thigns or do a movement to early or something
Ever hear the Pink Floyd song: Time? It talkjs about how when ur young being old looks soo far away and you just want to grow up but then when your old you realize how fast the time went bye. When I'm not on anything time goes bye pretty fast and I always find things to do but when I'm stoned time goes by soo slow and I don't do anything but listen to music.
Thats true, that does happen. Right on. Does anyone, when theyre stoned, try to like inflitrate their mind with a bubble where they can be not stoned? Its weird I try to do it. Its like my whole mind is fogged up with fog, and i try to clear a small area where I can actually not be stoned. Its bloody wierd.
I thinkt hat wher ur so stoned your brain cells expand soo much b/c of all the thoughts and then they pop b/c they get too big.
stonerbill hit the nail on the head, i think. i never feel like time and i are on the same wavelength, high OR sober.
the best thing about being stoned is that you can have fun but time doesnt fly! well, most of the time lol
Ok I believe we and time are one.. Some theories in quantum physics say you need a physical vehicle to travel in time.. I believe that All time is right here and we are vibrating to a different time.. (everything vibrates).. I don't believe in ghosts, I believe we see things from another time. glimpses or maybe leftovers.. I believe that time travel is achieved through our mind and spirit doing whatever it needs to do to vibrate on that level.. Bringing us back to the we and time are one.. WhAT IF,, drugs could could could play a part in opening our minds to that level... I beieve we find God in a similar way, but that's a whole different forum..
Maybe.. I didn't think on that theory until DejaVoo started this thread.. Drugs do affect your perception of time.. Maybe there is a chemical that can unlock that portal in your mind.. Since I'm not a scientist..I can only think this stuff out on a laymans level. But WHAT IF?. Maybe we've been going about things all wrong. People have a history of doing that.
I don't think Time is a line.. I think it's all right here with you. I live on a river that was heavily occupied by indians.. People see things here. Since I don't believe in ghosts, I believe I'm seeing glimpses of another time.. I don't think God wanted us to time travel, but people dabble where they shouldn't anyway.
well skoozy, in physics, the rate at which you move through time relative to other frames of reference is porportional to the speed at which you are moving relative to the that frame of reference. if you moves at the speed of light away, you would be invisibly thin and your time would not be an elemen to that frame, nor would their time be flowing from your perspecxtive. how do you explain the theory of special relativty with your idea?
so we are moving at the speed relevant to our time.. I think that's what I said.. I think we see glimpses of another time and it's all right here.. the drug theory is a WHAT IF?.. It's all theory anyway.. I don't know anyone who has traveled time, just a group that is interested.. of course they are of the Donnie Darko train of thought.. I don't believe we can go really go back. but showing glimpses of ourself in a forward time, I can grasp..
