Why DO people not pay? I've always wondered that... I'm sorry about your apron top, by the way. :( Oh, but I do definately know what it feels like to have stuff take too long to make. It takes me DAYS to make a skirt/dress because I don't have a sewing machine. I hope you finish it sooon!

It takes me a week to layout and sew up sidepanels for my pants. I dunno... I must be overthinking it or doing something wrong. :(

Karma has a way of getting all those non-payers. ;)

I, too am a sloooow sewer. It literally takes me days to finish things..sometimes over a week. I guess its because i am a stickler for details ...plus i have 4 kids lol

if you pay great attention to each and every detail and especially if you do detailed appliques..yes, it can take that long :)

Yeeeah... It's a lot harder than with a machine/serger because I have to do the seams an obnoxiously complex way (fold the side seam area in half, stitch, fold in half again so that the raw edge is kind of in a tube, stitch, iron, iron, iron, iron) so that they don't unravel if I wash them in the washing machine.

I'm actually almost done with a dress I've been working on (and I'm already displeased with it *rolls eyes*)

And apple seed... Thanks! I found the picture online in... I donno, something news related. *coughs*

Yay I am done! I am still toying with the idea of a butterfly applique on the petticoat in the back. I think I may. It would make the petticoat saucier if worn alone which was super cute when i tried it on... Depends on how ambitious I am when I look at it tomorrow....
